Photo: Taylor Lanning By Ryan Segal  November kicked off with a celebration, as Tom Sykes celebrated his 33rd birthday - with the celebrations continuing as Bob Anderson turned 78 a few days later.  As we took our party hats off, we put Wolverhampton into the Sat-Nav for the Grand Slam.  Gary Anderson and James Wade were flying the Team Unicorn flag at the WV Active Aldersley - but got off to losing starts in their respective groups, going down to Niko Springer and Stefan Bellmont respectively.

WADE ADMITS HE NEARLY WALKED AWAY FROM DARTSJAMES WADE admits he came close to walking away from darts altogether as it would have been “100 per cent the best thing” for his mental health.  The World No.5 was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder at 27-years-old.  Wade, 42, now represents the charity Bipolar UK as an ambassador – a role he has held since 2016.  Aldershot thrower Wade revealed he had struggled with the conditions pre-diagnosis.  He
