CAMERON MENZIES admits he'd have got the sack if he didn’t quit work to pursue his darting dream.
The World No.34 has dumped his job as a plumber to focus on the oche.
Menzies, 36, takes on Danny Noppert in the World Matchplay in Blackpool on Saturday night as he bids to further his successful year.
He has shown he already belongs amongst the best after winning the Players Championship 11 in April and reaching a further TWO finals on the floor this year.

ROSS SMITH believes he “can win any major this year” ahead of the World Matchplay commencing this weekend.
‘Smudger’ smashed in TWO nine-darters, reeled off three straight whitewash wins, and won an incredible 24 legs on the spin to clinch the Players Championship 16 title in May.
World No.14 Smith also reached the Austrian Darts Open final on the Euro Tour showing the brilliant 2025 campaign he has had.
Former European champ Smith made the quarter-finals at the Winter Gardens last year
