So it will be an all-Unicorn 2nd Round clash between Gary Anderson and Jeffrey de Zwaan at the World Grand Prix on Tuesday.
Anderson swept aside Welshman Jonny Clayton despite his troublesome back and De Zwaan got the better of Kim Huybrechts in their all Unicorn affair on the opening night.
But sadly Joe Cullen is on his way home after losing to Dutchman Ron Meulenkamp.
De Zwaan was sensational again. Put him on a big stage in a TV ‘Major’ and he comes alive.

Team Unicorn ace Ian White enjoyed yet another superb day on the PDC Pro Tour but just came up short at the second Players Championship event in Dublin on Saturday.
But White will go into the World Grand Prix in high spirits despite going down 6-4 in the final to Dutchman Danny Noppert who claimed his first PDC title at the City West Hotel.
He will disappointed because he played so well all day. However his run to the final sees White back up to top spot in the Players Championship Order of Merit

It was a landmark day in the career of Team Unicorn Latvian star Madars Razma.
He turned 30 this week and celebrated by winning through to the Players Championship Final in Dublin on Friday. Razma enjoyed a magical day before he was edged out by German ace Max Hopp 6-3 at the City West Hotel.
It was his first PDC final but the £6,000 prize money he earned has taken Razma to the cusp of World Championship qualification through the Pro Tour Order of Merit.

Dimitri van den Bergh has celebrated signing his new deal with Unicorn by winning another Development Tour title.
On the latest weekend of the PDC Unicorn Development Tour there were four different winners yet again.
Dimitri won event 15 on Sunday in Peterborough. The young Belgian ace beat Lee Budgen 5-3. He also reached the semi-finals of event 16 but lost to Christian Bunse. The young German was in turn beaten by 5-1 by Jarred Cole in the final.

The incredible Gary Anderson has won another big TV title and he’s done it in some style!
The Team Unicorn superstar claimed the Champions League crown in Brighton with a blistering display.
He swept aside Peter Wright 11-4 in the final to claim the £100,000 prize and he was unstoppable on a sensational Sunday.
Amazingly, Anderson hit THREE 10 darters in the final as he added the Champions League Trophy to a long list of big TV triumphs in 2018....UK Open, US Masters and World Matchplay.

He is one of the biggest young talents in World darts and now Dimitri van den Bergh has committed his long-term future to Unicorn.
The Belgian starlet has made a big splash over the last 12 months and is destined for the very top and Unicorn will back him all the way.

Michael Smith and James Wade will feature in blockbuster clashes in the 1st Round of the World Grand Prix.
The Team Unicorn duo have been handed tough draws in what is arguably the strongest field seen at the City West Hotel in Dublin.
Smith plays former World Champion Adrian Lewis, while former WGP winner Wade takes on Mensur Suljovic.
In all seven Unicorn stars will be involved in Dublin when the tournament gets under way on September 30.

Ian White has won the Dutch Darts Masters
‘Diamond’ sparkled in Maastricht to pocket the £25,000 prize but more importantly for the Unicorn ace, the biggest tournament victory of his darting career.
He saw off surprise finalist Ricky Evans 8-5 to claim the crown in Holland and this win now takes White above Raymond van Barneveld into 11th spot in the world rankings.
But what an achievement - to finally win on the big stage and it completes a superb couple of weeks for White. He’s signed a new contract

It wasn’t to be for James Wade!
Peter Wright won Players Championship 17 in Barnsley on Tuesday. Wade lost in the semi-finals after hitting a brilliant 9 darter with his new Unicorn Noir darts.
It was the second 9 darter of the day after Dutchman Vincent van der Voort had claimed one earlier.
Wade’s perfect leg came in an all Unicorn quarter-final where he beat Michael Smith 6-3 with a 105 average.
But he lost his semi-final by the same score against Daryl Gurney, who was then beaten 6-2 by Wright
