The Scot beat Berry van Peer 5-1 with a superb average of nearly 112 to go through to the last 16 but was full of praise and support for the young Dutchman who is struggling badly with dartitis. Van Peer has overcome the problem once before but it returned at this week's PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship. But he was forced to face a nail-biting wait before qualification was finally confirmed. The Unicorn man did his bit as he won a thrilling last leg decider to beat BDO No.1 Mark McGeeney.....but he was then left sweating on the result of the last match in the group between Mensur Suljovic and James Wilson. Quite simply, a Suljovic win and Smith was through, but a Wilson

November 05, 2017Team Unicorn youngster Dimitri van den Bergh produced the performance of his life to reach his first big TV quarter-final. The young Belgian beat Raymond van Barneveld 6-4 to set up an all Unicorn quarter-final at the World Series against James Wade. Meanwhile Unicorn superstar Gary Anderson wowed the Scottish crowd, while Kyle Anderson lost out in a thriller to Rob Cross. But Van den Bergh was exceptional. Twice in the opening three legs he hit six perfect darts and Van Barneveld didn't

November 05, 2017Gary Anderson missed out on the big prize at the World Series Finals in Scotland. The Unicorn man was beaten 11-6 by Michael van Gerwen but the Scot put up a terrific show against an inspired Dutchman. It was a thrilling final, but Anderson couldn't quite lift himself as Van Gerwen won the World Series Finals for a third straight year in Glasgow. Gary gave it a real go but will regret missing three darts at D16 to take the opening leg against the throw, only for Van Gerwen to nail a 103

The 6-1 scoreline tells its own story! And Chris Dobey produced his best performance of the year to stun Mensur Suljovic and he will now play his mentor Gary Anderson in the last 16! He was 0-3 down against the World No.7 but then found
