The tournament of finalists - The Grand Slam - is back upon us, as winners and runners up from all around the darting spectrum gather in the West Midlands to try and pick up the trophy.
There are two members of Team Unicorn flying the flag in Wolverhampton this week, as Gary Anderson and James Wade vie to add the Eric Bristow trophy to their illustruous cabinets.
The Flying Scotsman has frequently professed his love for this tournament, often citing it as his favourite in the calendar. It also remains one of the few that he hasn't won - though not for a lack of trying.
He's a two time finalist, losing in the showpiece tie in 2011 and 2018 - and it's taken two of the great Grand Slam games to knock him out of the past two iterations, losing in the Quarter-Final to Luke Humphries in 2023, and to Luke Littler in the Semi-Final in 2024.
He earnt his spot in the tournament via his European Tour victory in May, and his reward is a group with Michael van Gerwen, Niko Springer, and Beau Greaves.
He starts his campaign on Saturday night at approximately 20:30 GMT, opening his group against Springer.
The Machine, like Gary, has come within touching distance of the trophy, finishing as runner up three times - in 2010, 2016, and 2020.
Two years ago, he went even further than Gary - also losing to Luke Humphries, but one stage later in the Semi-Final. Last year, he was edged out by fellow Unicorn thrower Cameron Menzies in the L16.
He's in a group with Gerwyn Price, Ricky Evans, and Stefan Bellmont - and starts his campaign on Saturday afternoon at approximately 15:00 GMT, kicking off against Bellmont.
The tournament is live on Sky Sports for UK viewers, and PDC Partners around the world.
