Michael Smith produced one of the best performances of his career on the Liverpool stage as his Premier League campaign reached new heights. The Team Unicorn star demolished Raymond van Barneveld 7-0 at the Echo Arena....only the 9th whitewash in the history of the competition. But there was big disappointment for Gary Anderson who missed crucial doubles and lost for the first time to Rob Cross. James Wade reached a second Euro Tour semi-final in seven days in Munich at the weekend, but it was Michael van Gerwen who again took the big prize, Wade’s confidence and belief is returning and it is showing on the oche with another terrific run at the German Darts Grand Prix. Van Gerwen clinched a 22nd Euro Tour title with an 8-5 win over Peter Wright in the final. But the Unicorn man showed good form all weekend.
