Team Unicorn Global youngster Harry Ward, 20, has qualified for the Coral UK Open Finals at Butlins Minehead resort next month.
Former PDC Development Tour finalist 'Big H' won the Rileys Coventry knockout yesterday, to secure his second UK Open appearance, having previously played in the 2016 event.

What a few days it’s been for Unicorn star Michael Smith.
After beating Gary Anderson in the Premier League, the St Helens sharp shooter reached the final of the 1st UK Open qualifier 24 hours later before losing to Michael van Gerwen.
But on Sunday at the 3rd UK Open qualifying event, he went one better winning the event as he thrashed Austrian Zoran Lerchbacher 6-0 in the final in Wigan.

Ian White and Michael Smith have both just missed out on the big prize on the first weekend of UK Open qualifiers in Wigan.
The Team Unicorn pair reached the semi-finals and final respectively of the first two UK Open qualifiers....and White hit a 9 darter on the way!
Both events were won by Michael van Gerwen, who notched up his 100th senior singles title in the PDC with his 6-3 win over Darren Webster in Saturday’s final. The World No.1 had beaten Unicorn’s Michael Smith 6-3 in Friday’s final.

The Professional Darts Corporation and Butlins have agreed a new three-year contract to keep the UK Open and Players Championship Finals at the Butlin's Minehead Resort until at least 2020.
The Somerset venue has hosted PDC darts since the Players Championship Finals moved to Minehead in 2012, proving hugely popular with fans who have access to every session of darts as part of their package, which includes accommodation with inclusive dining as an option.

Michael Smith took the honours in the all Unicorn clash on the opening night of the Premier League in Dublin.
But he admitted afterwards that the victory was hard to take against his mentor. Anderson was again struck down by the debilitating back problem which has troubled him for some time.
Anderson led 5-1 but was struggling to walk and Smith incredibly won six straight legs.
