After the joy of watching Ross Smith lift the International Darts Open title high above his head last Sunday, Team Unicorn are back in action on the European Tour, as a select number of the team travel to Kiel for the Baltic Sea Darts Open.

The BSDO is the 8th event on the ET circuit this season, with Ross’ triumph last week being the first one to leave the stage with a member of Team Unicorn.

We’re represented in all four sessions with fixtures released – so here’s who to keep your eye out for this weekend:

Friday afternoon sees Ian White take to the stage for a fifth appearance on the circuit this season. Diamond has been in fabulous form on the floor, reaching a Semi-Final at Players Championship 16 in Leicester a few weeks ago.

He got his first win of the season on the ET stage during his last appearance, beating Michael Smith – which leaves him 37th in the race for the European Championship coming into this weekend.

The Top 32 get a shot at becoming European Champion in Dortmund once all is said and done after 14 events – and Diamond will be hoping that a win on Friday afternoon is the first step towards propelling himself into those qualifying spots.

He takes on Euro Tour debutant Jimmy van Schie in the fourth match of the afternoon session.

In the evening on Friday, we’ve got back to back games featuring members of Team Unicorn, in the forms of Cameron Menzies and James Hurrell.

Cammy couldn’t have asked for much better preparation for this weekend, having reached his first ever Semi-Final in Riesa a few days ago.

He fought through a tough opener against Michael Unterbuchner, before sensationally coming from 0-4 down TWICE in the next three matches to reach the L4, where eventual champion Ross got the win.

He’s been playing some excellent darts in recent Players Championship events, finding the ton topping averages that flow like a Venezian canal when he’s on song.

He’ll be hoping that that good form will continue, particularly given the fact he now finds himself in that fabled Top 32 – and he won’t want to have to chase again any time soon.

He faces reserve list call-up Rob Cross in game three of the evening, in a game that both will view as an important one in the race for the Matchplay.

Following the Muirkirkian Magician is one of our newest recruits –James Hurrell.

Hillbilly has been one of the shining examples of how to transition from the WDF to the PDC, going from World Number #1 on the amateur circuit to someone comfortably inside the Top 64 of the PDC – with his game only heading in one direction.

He’s defending less than 1/5 of the money on his ranking this year (a total he’s all but secured already), meaning the only way is up in 2026 for the Hurrellcane.

He sits slightly further adrift of the qualification spots than Ian, in 54th, but the promised land of the Top 32 is only ever one run away – a run that James is more than capable of going on.

He faces another name in Matchplay contention, Sebastian Bialecki, in game four of Friday evening.

Onto Saturday – and first, the hypotheticals we hope become reality:

If Ian wins, he’ll face Mike De Decker in game three of Saturday afternoon.

If Cammy wins, he’ll face Stephen Bunting in game four of Saturday evening.

If James wins, he’ll face Chris Dobey in game two of Saturday evening.

Onto the confirmed pair:

James Wade will be looking to build on his Quarter-Final run in Riesa last weekend, reaching the L8 before losing to Cammy, in what ended up being a mini game of Unicorn dominos.

He reached four Semi-Finals on the circuit last year – and like his Hillbilly namesake, is defending very little of his prize money in 2026, already nearly preserving it on his rankings.

He’s looking up with the hopes of a top 4 return and automatic qualification for the Premier League – and a win against Dutch opposition in the form of Niels Zonneveld or Richard Veenstra would be a cracking step towards that goal.

He sits just inside the Top 32 of the race for Dortmund, sat in 31st.

He starts his campaign in between Hillbilly and Cammy on Saturday night.

Finishing off Saturday night is the most recent champion on the circuit – Ross Smith.

We’ve got no problems continuing to gush over his Sunday success, as he rides the crest of a wave into this weekend.

He’s back up to 14th in the main OoM, and top of the European Championship race, with Sunday being his second final on the circuit this season.

He’ll face one of Niko Springer or Nandor Major to end round two.

You can catch all the action via PDCTV in the UK, and PDC Partners around the world – so wish #TeamUnicorn all the best as they look to kick it in Kiel this weekend.
